The
Land of Snow
The Rooftop of the World
That's Western Treasure House
Tibet
- Xi Zang
I spent ten days in Tibet on Dec, staying on at least
3000 meters high land everyday, made me feel was being
in the sky, reach hands then can touch clouds. Trip
expense is not high if you don't take plane. And, if
you are going to there, don't forget bring some small
gifts to there's kids, even a pen, they need our care.
Here is the trip route: La Sa --> Shigatse -->
Lhatse --> Shegar --> Everest Base Camp -->
Gyantse --> La Sa.
They
have a spirit of adventure.
They have a belief in education.
They have a thirst to create a life in a developing country.
They have a desire to make a difference, one student at
a time.
Feng
Huang: A
Famous City of Historical and Cultural Significance. It
lies in the south of the Xiang Xi Tu and Maio Autonomous
Prefecture in west Hu Nan, and it's ancient city was built
in 686 in the Tang dynasty.
Yang Shuo:
"Guilin shanshui jia tianxia, Yangshuo Kancheng jia
guili." This quote means: Guilin has the best scenery,
but Yangshuo's is even better, with the karsts mountains
and beautiful, clear Li River. The mysterious mountains,
clear waters, fantastic caves and local cultures and people
form a harmonious union together .... It is a unique,
beautiful picture never before seen!
Li
Jiang :
The
ancient city of Li Jiang, hidden within the modern, and
very typical Chinese, city of Li Jiang, is quite the site
to behold. Nestled in a valley, with views of Yu Long
Xue Shan in the distance, the ancient city dates back
many hundreds of years, some of the areas of the city
being over a thousand years old. A river that ran through
the valley was redirected and split into a system of canals,
which run through the ancient city, to bring water to
the inhabitants, and cart waste and sewerage away.
Da
Li :
The Ancient City of Dali is located 13 km south of Xiaguan
, at the foot of the Cangshan Mountain in the west and
overlooks the Erhai Lake in the east . With the Changsheng
temple high up on the hill overlooking the ancient city
of Da Li, the nearby great lake (in which is an island
whose inhabitants, most of whom have never left the island,
live in their own society with their own rules and customs),
the surrounding snow covered mountains, and the fertile
fields, Da Li is pretty idyllic, and reminiscent of the
Shangri La depicted in the cinema. Only Li Jiang and Zhongdian
come close.

amid the Terracotta Soldiers
Xian and The Terra Cotta Soldiers or The Army of Terracotta
Warriors as they are officially known is fast becoming
one of the most famous sites in the world. Discovered
by peasants digging a well in 1974 they probably found
the most important archaeological site of the 20th. century.
2000 years ago the life size Army of Terracotta Warriors
and their horses all standing in battle formation to protect
the tomb of Qin Shihuang the First Emperor who united
the country were buried.
Su
Zhou: Suzhou
is the most famous attraction in the Province of Jiangsu.
Suzhou is one of the oldest towns in the Yangzi basin
dating back some 2,500 years. Famed for its silk production
centre, its beautiful gardens and canals. The Imperial
Canal is one of many canals which flow through the heart
of the town giving it the name of "Venice of the
East". From here visitors can take a short cruise
to Hangzhou. The
many wonderful gardens gave it another name of "Heaven
on Earth" and some of the best to visit are the "Garden
of the Master of the Nets", "Garden of the Canglangting
Pavilion", "Garden of Lingering" and the
"Garden of the Politics of the Humble Man?
Shang
